Dear Dr Yang,
This is a very exciting time for Advanced Lab and the medical community, as we launch our Borrelia culture test. Orders for Borrelia collection kits can be placed by doctors via email with myself or the lab directly (questions@advanced-lab.com), and the price for the basic immunohistochemistry analysis has been set at $595. The test results include an immunostained photograph of any spirochetes that are grown, and also delineate whether B. burgdorferi spirochetes, non-burgdorferi Borrelia, non-Borrelia spirochetes (eg. syphilis) or no spirochetes are detected. Demand for this test has been very high, and for capacity reasons we may initially need to space out how many kits we can send/accept per week. Initial results are available in 7-10 days, with full results in 30 days.
Advanced Laboratory Services, Inc is also accepting regular (non-Borrelia) lab requisitions – again, collection kits (including applicable FedEx packaging) can be ordered with me or with the lab directly, and I have included a requisition form as an example of the tests we have available. I would also like the opportunity to meet with you and customize a requisition form to your office’s specific needs.
